To have, or not to have, (a school room)…THAT is the question!

Your school room is probably as unique to you as your homeschooling lifestyle is in general. This topic could be endlessly debated, and, as is often seen in topics-homeschooling, there is no “correct” answer or “correct” way of doing things. Each family is free (and encouraged) to discern what is best for their particular household.

Should you have a room set aside that is meant for classroom study?

Should you gather ‘round the kitchen or dining room table?

Perhaps each child should work in their bedroom or other separate area.

Why not just lounge around in the living room: on the couch, on the floor, in a bean bag chair…

The decision whether or not to have a formal “classroom area” in your home study program can be made by taking a look at each style of learning, and then deciding which way best fits your students!

Let’s take a look at the most common areas for learning in the homeschooling environment!
