This Prayers-for-Mothers page is updated weekly/PLEASE VISIT!

Welcome to our Prayers-for-Mothers page!

Whether you're a stay-at-home mom, work-at-home mom, a

homeschooling mom, or a work-outside the home mom, (or Dad, or

Grandma, or Auntie for that matter!) time for quiet reflection

is essential to your day !

Ever had those days when it was all you could do to find a

moment to stop and pray?

This is when we develop a "prayerful spirit"...when our living

and carrying out our duties "becomes our prayer"...and that's

well and good.

But it's also important to try to make time to BE STILL AND KNOW

THAT HE IS GOD!

A few moments of meditation can be just what you need to carry

you through.

We offer you these prayers-for-mothers as a devotion for

each day...feel free to copy and print them for personal use or

share with a friend!

Light a candle, or sip some tea on the porch...kneel by the

bedside, or take a walk in your yard...and let these quiet

reflections lift your heart and mind to the Lord that He may

bless you in your vocation!

Prayers-for-Mothers

Oh Lord, You are powerful and mighty.

You, are the eternal, immortal God.

I bow before You this day, humble and contrite...a sinner.

Send Your mercy to cleanse my soul and lift me to a new level

in life...that of holiness.

Help me to die to self so that I may live in Christ, my Savior.

You, oh Lord, are the One, True, God.

I will praise and worship and thank You, all the days of my life!

Each person I meet today grants me an opportunity to encounterChrist.

I promise to seek Him in every soul; especially those withwhom I find difficulty.

I hope that in looking for Christ in others, they too, will beable to find Him in me.

Let Your Spirit come upon us Lord, so that CHRIST will be IN ALLthis day, tomorrow, and always.

To know, love, and serve the Lord...this is our purpose on earth.

All else pales in comparison to this mission in life.

Help me God, to keep my priorities in order and to place YOUabove and before all else.

For it is in serving You, praising You, and loving You, that I receive the needed graces and blessings to go out and serve others in Your name.

Let nothing come between us, let nothing lead me astray or causeme to fall into temptation.

I surrender all that I am, all that I think, say, and do intoYour Hands that You may guide my every thought and every step on each and every day.

Lord Jesus, Son of God, and Son of Man, I wish to take up mydaily cross and follow after You.

Grant me strength in my weakness, and fill my heart with Yourgoodness and virtues so that I may be:

generous and kind, instead of selfish

patient and long-suffering, instead of anxious and grumpy

meek and gentle, instead of aggressive and forebearing

charitable and merciful, instead of unforgiving and angry

Bless me, protect me, and help me to live as You lived, loveas You loved, and serve as You served.

One day we will be called to account for all that we have done. But we will also be held accountable for that which we did NOTdo, but should have.

With this in mind Lord, help me to stand strong in my faith eachday. Help me to defend Your Word even when it will bring persecution, rejection, or personal suffering my way.

Let me never cower in the face of adversity, but rather, rise upwith confidence to speak and defend Your Truth.

I never want there to be a time whenYou were calling me to speak or act, and I remained silent instead.

Help me always to be courageous in spreading the Gospel messageand living it in the sight of others.

Help me to share Your love and to be that which You have called me to be, no matter the cost.

Loving Jesus, help us to live for love of God and neighbor!

Generous Jesus, Who gave all at the ultimate cost, help us to give to those in need without wanting in return!

Kind and gentle Jesus, help us to be understanding, compassionate, and empathetic to the state-in-life of those we meet each day!
