Welcome to our Prayers-for-Mothers page!
Whether you're a stay-at-home mom, work-at-home mom, a
homeschooling mom, or a work-outside the home mom, (or Dad, or
Grandma, or Auntie for that matter!) time for quiet reflection
is essential to your day !
Ever had those days when it was all you could do to find a
moment to stop and pray?
This is when we develop a "prayerful spirit"...when our living
and carrying out our duties "becomes our prayer"...and that's
well and good.
But it's also important to try to make time to BE STILL AND KNOW
THAT HE IS GOD!
A few moments of meditation can be just what you need to carry
you through.

We offer you these prayers-for-mothers as a devotion for
each day...feel free to copy and print them for personal use or
share with a friend!
Light a candle,or sip some tea on the porch...kneel by the
bedside, or take a walk in your yard...and let these quiet
reflections lift your heart and mind to the Lord that He may
bless you in your vocation!

Renew our hearts oh Lord!
Make us yearn for YOUR presence and seek YOUR will each
and every moment of our lives.
The old is washed away, we are cleansed and purified IN CHRIST!
We can DIE to self and live in HIM, Who makes ALL things
NEW!
Fill our hearts with JOY and GLADNESS for the promises of
Christ REMAIN!
Grant us the grace to seek YOUR FORGIVENESS and amend our
lives at the start of each new day.
To YOU be the GLORY, the PRAISE, and the HONOR all the days
of our lives!

Thank You God for the changing of the beautiful seasons.
There are seasons in nature to delight our senses and bring
JOY to our days!
There are seasons in life that carry us through the ebb and flow
of existence!
There are Liturgical seasons in Your Church which help us to
reflect and focus on the glorious and wonderful mysteries and
Teachings of Christ.
(Ecclesiastes 3:1)..."For everything there is a season, and a
time for every purpose unto Heaven: a time to be born, a time to
die, a time to plant, and time to harvest, a time to kill,
a time to heal, a time to break down, a time to build up, a time
to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn, a time to dance,
a time to cast away stones, a time to gather, a time to embrace,
a time to refrain from embracing, a time to seek,
a time to lose, a time to keep, a time to cast away, a time
to tear, and a time to sew, a time to keep silence, a time
to speak, a time to love, a time to hate, a time for war, and a
time for peace.

Help me to carry the crosses in my life with dignity and grace.
There are only two possibilities in life.
You, my God, have either directly WILLED my circumstance, or
You have allowed it.
Therefore, let me not grown anxious or complain but rather,
may I willingly endure each trial and suffering that comes my
way as a blessing and an opportunity to grow in Faith, Hope, and
Love!

The Lord is GOOD and LOVING!
He cares for me each day.
All that I am, all that I have, all that I will ever be comes
from HIS GOODNESS and BLESSING.
If He were to cease to think of me for but one moment, I would
be no more.
I am His creature and He is my Creator!
I thank Him for giving me LIFE!
I thank Him for holding me in existence!
I marvel at His mighty works and PRAISE HIM for His glory!
HE IS MY GOD and I AM HIS SERVANT, all the days of my life!

Jesus is the Light of the World.
Help me to be like Him, Lord.
Let Your Spirit ignite a flame in my soul so that I too,
can bring the Light of Christ to this dark and troubled world.
Let me not hesitate to share His LOVE.
Let me not fear the enemy.
Let me not forget those who are seeking TRUTH.
Let me be a friend to those who search for YOU.
Let my life be a reflection of YOUR IMAGE.
Let me lead all who cross my path to YOUR JOY.

Prayers-for-Mothers

My body and my spirit are given by YOU, Lord.
Let me master myself so that the two will work in harmony
with one another; not against one another.
Let my body be the instrument to fulfill the action of my
spirit. And, let my spirit be the fuel that energizes my
body.
Help me, oh God, to control the flesh...to FEED my spirit with
the strength of Your Sacraments and the nourishment of Your
holy Eucharist!
Together, BODY AND SPIRIT make me WHOLE.
When these are both working for the GLORY OF GOD, then I
can live IN PEACE!

This is a day set aside...a day for WORSHIP, for FAMILY,
for REST and RELAXATION! This is a day for REFLECTION and
MEDITATING upon YOUR WORD!
SUNDAY...The LORD'S DAY!
Help me to refrain from work that is not necessary Lord.
Help me to "BE" rather than "DO".
Help me to PAUSE and NOTICE YOUR PRESENCE.
Help me to REJOICE in YOUR LOVE and PRAISE YOUR NAME!
Let this day be a special one for me...and all Sundays hereafter.
Refresh my soul and strengthen my spirit so that I am ready
for the coming week!
