Does your homeschool have FOCUS?

Keeping your focus on lessons is important!

The homeschooling experience is unique in the educational sense in that it is not merely an “academic” experience, but rather a “lifestyle” all its own.

LIFE is happening and interwoven into the classroom studies and activities of each day.

Because the family is home together, often with many different age levels, various personalities and needs, it takes practice, perseverance, and MUCH trial and error to succeed in finding a rhythm which allows you to be productive in your lessons while having the household duties and personal needs of the family met as well.

Add the times when a child is ill or an urgent trip to the ER arises…or the roof begins to leak and the dog runs away, and you find yourself faced with a tremendous challenge in the school day!

Taking the proper steps to make sure that you remain FOCUSED when your classes are in session, can make the difference between a day of chaotic frenzy and a pleasant learning atmosphere with a sense of accomplishment.

Are you allowing too many outside distractions to clutter your school day?

Check out this link to consider some ways that you might be able to improve your home study program by avoiding unnecessary clutter and outside distractions!
