Have you ever found yourself wanting new connections feeling isolated or even lonely in your vocation as a homeschooling wife and mother?
WHAT?!? Did she say "LONELY"?!? How could one be lonely surrounded by babies and students ALL day, EVERY day? It's TRUE! At least in my personal journey it has been from time to time.
Sure I LOVE being with my children...they're fun, energetic, intelligent, witty, kind, and eager...and there's no other place I'd rather be that at home with them each day! But, I still enjoy interacting and connecting with adults as well...and sometimes THAT isn't so easy to do when you ARE at home and busy with the family!

This past year God has blessed me with some new and wonderful friends...many of whom I have never even met!!! These are women like myself, seeking to abide in Christ, embrace their calling, live in JOY (even amidst suffering), and provide their children with an education that tends to the body, mind, and soul to allow them to reach their
fullest potential as children of God!
MY FAVORITE THINGS
I LOVE being a stay-at-home mother! I LOVE my Catholic Faith! I LOVE being married (to a really cute guy ::smile::), and I LOVE homeschooling!
The Homeschool Lounge ladies, taught me that I could take those things I love, and use them to create MY OWN BUSINESS What are your interests? Gardening? Sewing? Sports? Culinary Arts? Fashion? Writing? Books? Music? Scrapbooking? Unit Studies? ANY and ALL of these things (and MORE) can turn into a business for you! The possibilities are endless!
At first I thought, "Oh c'mon...there are HUNDREDS of sites like that out there already"...but after studying the tools and resources made available to me, I learned that IT DOESN'T MATTER...there could be a MILLION sites like the one you want to create, and you can STILL BE SUCCESSFUL! (I've even read of a SEVEN year old who was starting his own site!) TIME AND ENERGY
Thankfully, I'm an energetic person. God sent us our last six babies in seven years...the youngest of which is now 2. My most recent past has not had a single free moment to do anything other than care for those six babies and all that comes with it. However, now that our sweet little guy is 2...I found myself with more energy AND more time to get things done!
I'm able to work on my website at night, while the children are asleep...and when I'm not working on my website...IT is STILL working for me! There are several ways to generate an income. The most common ways are to allow advertising on your site (see the Google ads at the bottom of this page?).I can also create and sell my own products including: E-books, crafts, artwork, etc... Another way to profit is by becoming an "affiliate" of third parties. Companies place advertising on web sites through which web site owners make money! Ads are based on a site's "content"...which means if I write about gardening, the ads will provide for a visitor's gardening needs...if I write about real estate, the ads will serve a visitor's needs in that area...I write about homeschooling, so the ads you see on my web site will provide you with convenient ways to shop for
your homeschooling needs and supplies!

away! There's a wonderful place called "The Homeschool Lounge" that is waiting to offer you fellowship, fun, encouragement, and enrichment for your daily family life. It was on this site that I first learned that there are women out there using their home computers (and some time and effort and willingness to step outside that comfort zone and learn new things)to create, build, and sustain a HOME-BASED FAMILY BUSINESS that brings in a second income and ALSO provides legacy for their children's future!
Through the friendships made on the Lounge, I learned about a company that provides every- day-moms like myself everything they need to take a personal passion and interest, and TURN IT INTO A BUSINESS! What a GREAT feeling to hear that I could take my passion for my Faith, my family, and my homeschool, and WRITE about that in order to A) HELP OTHERS and B) BUILD A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS FROM HOME!
