The chapter on Surrender in Marriage should be read by every engaged couple; the thoughts and advice are priceless. Here is one of my favorite quotes from that chapter: "Christian love is such that when our spouse is faced with dark times, we are willing to keep putting him/her first, to keep giving when nothing is given in return; for in all things, we must remember that it is CHRIST to whom we are giving first, and it is for the glory of God that we love in our marriages."
